The Sustainable City of the future
http://inear.se/urbanjungle/

Christophe:
The Sustainable City of the future is currently being built in the desert of Abu Dhabi... the City of Masdar... If you don't know about Masdar project I invite you to have a look at the Masdar website. The city has been started in 2006 or so and is planned to be done within the coming 10 or 15 years. A gigantic project for a "sustainable" technological city. http://masdarcity.ae/en/ and videos : http://masdarcity.ae/en/49/resource-centre/video-gallery/
It's quite easier to build a sustainable city form scratch than retrofitting existing ones... (sustainable... but nothing is explained about food providing, health, etc.)

Microsoft: Sustainable Future Video
I'm not sure whether to put this here, but this is extra resource, or food for thought and discussion... Amongst the future visualizations, we often encounter here and there a great number of digital futures (very technological and with touch-screens everywhere), and sometimes with a touch of so-called "sustainability" like in this Microsoft video :http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3KnIJoHibiQ
or the much similar http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OptqxagZDfM All those videos are offering very questionnable futures...
